MAYOR XABA TO LEAD METRO MAYORS ON WALKABOUT TO CITY’S TOURISM SITES AND CATALYTIC PROJECTS
EThekwini Municipality Mayor, Councillor Cyril Xaba, will tomorrow lead mayors from the county's metropolitan municipalities on a walkabout along the Durban Beachfront Promenade to showcase some of the city's tourism attraction sites.
This will be followed by a visit to various catalytic projects to showcase the City’s investment profile which focuses on enhancing economic growth by building an enabling environment, improving infrastructure while leveraging on sector-specific strengths.
Members of the media are invited to attend the following activities:
25 April: 07:00 – 09:00
Beach Experience- walkabout along the Promenade (starting point: Suncoast Casino Promenade)
11:00 – 14:30
City experience tour, including visits to Durban Port, urban regeneration projects, and catalytic projects.
