MAYOR XABA TO HAND OVER KEY WATER, ROAD AND HOUSING INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS IN THE OUTER WEST
EThekwini Municipality Mayor, Councillor Cyril Xaba, will tomorrow, 23 July 2026, preside over the official handover of several service delivery projects in the rural communities of KwaNyuswa, Ngcolosi and Embo in the Outer West region of the city.
The projects include a 6‑megalitre water reservoir valued at R40 million, a R6 million upgraded access road, and several rural housing developments. The handover programme will be followed by a community engagement session, during which Mayor Xaba will outline additional development initiatives planned for these areas.
