ESSENTIAL MAINTENANCE AT USHAKA MARINE WORLD WET ‘N WILD
UShaka Marine World wishes to inform members of the public and all stakeholders of planned essential maintenance work scheduled for the Wet ’n Wild Waterpark.
The Waterpark will temporarily close from Monday, 4 May 2026, to allow for critical maintenance and refurbishment. The maintenance programme is expected to take approximately three weeks, with the Waterpark scheduled to reopen on Saturday, 23 May 2026.
The timing of this maintenance has been carefully planned to coincide with the Waterpark’s low season in order to minimise disruption to visitors. The work will prioritise several key attractions, including the Waterpark’s three highest slides, the popular 5‑Lane Racer slides, as well as the resurfacing of multiple pools throughout the facility.
Importantly, other attractions within uShaka Marine World will remain fully operational during this period. These include Sea World, Kids World, Sea Animal Encounters, and Dangerous Creatures, ensuring guests can still enjoy a wide range of experiences while maintenance is underway.
Visitors and stakeholders are kindly encouraged to take note of the closure dates and plan their visits accordingly to avoid disappointment.
uShaka Marine World apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks all guests for their understanding and continued support as the facility undergoes these essential improvements.
